COVID-19 Information

Pack 40 is currently operating in a hybrid model, holding meetings both virtually and in person. We are following all Federal, State, Local and BSA guidelines for holding meetings both indoors and outdoors. We are observing allowable capacity limits, maintaining social distancing, wearing masks and using hand sanitizer.

We will be utilizing the great outdoors to hold our meetings to the greatest extent possible while the weather is nice, for both Den and Pack meetings. When it is time to move meetings indoors, we will weigh all options based on current guidance, and determine if we can hold in-person meetings at a facility, or resume virtual meetings utilizing Zoom.

COVID-19 is not stopping Pack 40 from providing our Scouts a quality and positive Cub Scout program! Although we may not be able to operate as we normally would, or participate in larger activities, the Pack 40 Committee members, Den Leaders and Assistant Den Leaders are dedicated and committed to working with the Scouts to help them complete requirements and earn rank!

Over 95% of our Scouts earned rank at the end of the 2020 Scouting year (July 2020), with at least 4 months of having virtual meetings and Scouts working on requirements at home with their families. A true testament to the hard work of our Leaders and Families!
